CIS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in July 2014, our mission is to provide educational and recreational activities and experiences to youth to promote education and deter youth violence in our community of Lexington, KY and support families to help them become productive members of society. ​Our organization strives to provide youth with educational opportunities such as STEM, mentoring, tutoring, the arts and cultural education.

CIS Annual Summer Camp 2021 Is A Wrap!

We had another successful camp this summer! Lots of fun activities and educational opportunities. If you missed us we will be back next year, the 3rd and 4th week of June and the 1st and 2nd week of July. We also have other programs we have throughout the year! Sign up now for fall programming.

The Mike Thomas and Kamaria Spaulding Scholarship

Community Inspired Solutions has now instituted its Memorial Scholarship in Honor of ​​our co-founder Mike Thomas and his niece Kamaria Spaulding who we lost much too soon. Our 2021 scholarship recipient is Ms. Kennedy Little. We are so proud to have this young lady to represent us . We know she will do great things! Learn more about Ms. Kennedy in the latest edition of the Lextropolis e-magazine (page 41).
